DESCRIPTION

The Prisma platform is capable of utilizing a combination of modules which address a variety of revenue generating applications. The platform also supports important reliability enhancing features such as redundant power supplies, status monitoring and control (with CIM) and network switching. The Model 6971-SF is a high performance 870 MHz Single Forward Optical Receiver. The 6971-SF performs equally well with either 1310 nm or 1550 nm transmitters and provides a cost effective  solution for both long and short haul optical links. Delivering superior performance, the 6971-SF complements any architecture that incorporates an indoor receive site. (Such as a hub or headend interconnect.)
