Description
The BE48-3 rectifier is a compact 48VDC isolated output power module capable of providing up to 3A (150 Watts). Two versions are available - a 120 VAC/60Hz input model and a 220VAC/50Hz input model. The module can be employed as a constant voltage battery charger or as a battery eliminator (power supply). This versatile, parallelable module plugs into any one of several Pylon wall-mount and rack-mount enclosures such as the space saving rack-mount configuration shown below. For more information on these enclosures see Bulletin S-20 BE48-3 SYSTEM ACCESSORIES. The module also directly plugs into a single slot in a Wescom® 400 or Tellabs® Type 10 equipment shelf. There are many thousand units currently in service in hundreds of different telecom applications with an incredible field-proven reliability record. Applications range from: powering critical gateway equipment at small P.O.P. sites, C.P.E. applications, military PBX power installations, portable 48 VDC power for production testing, even sales demo kits - anywhere where a small amount of reliable, high quality 48 VDC power is needed and there is no battery plant available.
