Harmonic’s small form factor pluggable (SFP) GSF 9100 is a low voltage 1000BASE-T electrical transceiver over Category 5 unshielded twisted pair cable. This transceiver is designed for Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) with full duplex throughput of 1000 Mb/s by transporting data over unshielded twisted pair category 5 cable with 5-level PAM (pulse amplitude modulation) signals.


For maximum compatibility the GSF 9000 series line are compliant with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and compatible with Gigabit Ethernet standard as specified in IEEE Std 802.3Z.
