Product Details

Our TRANScode-8 is a professional Network Video Transcoder used to convert video between MPEG-4 (H.264) and MPEG-2 formats and for HD to SD down conversion. It accepts  8 IP (SPTS/MPTS)  input streams (standard) and has an option for 4 tuner inputs which can be DVB-S/S2/C/T/ISDB-T or ATSC.   Each satellite feed input has its own CAM/CI slot to descramble the encrypt content.  Once received each program can be multiplexed, transcoded and processed. The TRANScode-8 will output 8 SPTS or 1 MPTS (UDP/RTP) through its 1GigE SFP Interface and its ASI port.  Closed Caption function has been embedded to transport CC (or teletext).  A management port is provided for web GUI.
