TERAYON CP 7585 DUAL 8VSB TO ASI DEMODULATOR
A ONE RACK UNIT PACKAGE THAT DEMODULATES TWO SD OR HD SIGNALS The Terayon CP 7585 dual 8VSB to ASI demodulator is a powerful, 1-RU decoding engine that converts up to two incoming 8VSB SD or HD DTV signals to ASI. Each program can then be locally processed, edited or passed through to another destination. A dual unit receiver offering dual independent ASI outputs, the Terayon CP 7585 demodulator resides at the local headend, where it receives up to two incoming DTV broadcast signals in the standard EIA 50 - 860 MHz band. The CP 7585 then demodulates the 8VSB signals and converts the resulting two MPEG-2 transport streams into ASI outputs. These outputs are typically then fed into the local headend's 64/256-QAM modulator, or to a local multiplexer for stream processing. THE DUAL CHANNEL DEMODULATOR THAT'S BUILT TOUGH -- BUT EASY TO USE
The Terayon CP 7585 demodulator delivers 24 hour, hands off service, and conforms to widely recognized standards such as ASI. The low profile, single rack unit design reduces equipment space requirements in the headend. The streamlined user interface transforms receiver set up and operation into a simple, straightforward operation without scrolling through numerous menus. Editing is easy, and every edit is automatically saved.
