hp Procurve Switch 2524

Description

The Procurve 2524 switch is inexpensive, layer 2 managed switch, stackable, 9.6 Gbps, "switch on a chip" technology for non-blocking performance, and ideal for low-cost migration to 10/100 managed switching with uplinks. This Hewlett Packard managed switch also has the ability to take optional transceivers. The HP ProCurve Switch 2524 sports 24 ports of both Type 10Base-T and Type 100Base-TX. Two additional transceiver slots are also open. An RS-232C port for serial connection is required for the terminal console port, if need be. You have the ability to hook this device up to a computer via the serial port and then set it up via telnet.
