SFX3101 FEATURES INCLUDE:
High Performance - choose the modulation technique best suited for the application and operating budget. The SFX3101 models support both DVB-S and DVB-S2 operation. In the DVB-S mode, QPSK demodulation is supported from 1 Ms/s to 45 Ms/s. The DVB-S2 mode supports QPSK and 8PSK demodulation from 1 Ms/s to 30 Ms/s. Sustained output speeds of up to 90 Mb/s with up to 250 PIDs make the SFX3101 flexible and powerful enough for every application. Operates with IP input (bypassing the satellite receiver) for all terrestrial applications. Addition of third Ethernet NIC is recommended to allow for high speed input/output on separate gig-Ethernet ports. Router Functionality - connect to your LAN using industry-standard router protocols. Dual Ethernet Outputs - supports flexible and unique network configurations that separate multicast and network traffic onto different subnets, separate network traffic onto public and private subnets, or even route between two subnets. Conditional Access System (CAS) - our most popular product the SFX3101R comes equipped with an internal smart card reader and can be configured to use an Irdeto IP industry leading decryption client compatible with the Irdeto Gigacrypt conditional access system. Alternatively, other conditional access/ encryption methods are supported. The SFX3101 B is equipped with a DVB Common Interface (CI) whereas the SFX3101 F is equipped with an AES decryptor that uses a 128 bit key. See table on the left.
Network Management - IDC’s tested and tried addressable network control system NetManager2 controls receivers over the satellite while industry-standard SNMP tools manage the receivers using MIB-II or enterprise MIB protocols for easy remote control and monitoring.
Web Browser Interface - local or remote configuration of the receiver using a standard web browser.
Expansion Slot - is available in oder to equip a third gig-ethernet interface.
Linux O/S - unparalleled operational stability, full network router functionality, plus the reliability and non-stop reputation of embedded Linux—loaded from HDD on power up.
Connectivity - Industry-standard connectors are provided for ease of interface to other equipment and sub-systems. In addition to IP network connectivity, the SFX3101 includes sync, async and terminal interfaces for easy migration from serial protocol legacy satellite networks.
