A low delay mode for interview situations, software selectable 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 modes and multiple audio options increase its flexibility. The MV12 encoder is integrated with Harmonic’s suite of network management applications that add a full range of configuration, monitoring and redundancy. Because the MV12 encoder complies with MPEG-2 and DVB industry standards, it meets a wide range of cable, terrestrial or satellite distribution and contribution requirements.
